Unveiled at the prestigious Monterey Car Week, this dramatic SUV concept previews Acura’s next-generation all-electric model, scheduled to enter production in late 2025. Developed by the Acura Design Studio in Los Angeles, the Performance EV Concept highlights the extreme design possibilities enabled by Acura’s next-generation Honda-developed EV platform.

Design That Pushes Boundaries

This concept showcases an innovative approach to performance-oriented design, featuring:

  • Moonlit White Pearl Finish: A semi-matte paint offering a striking, futuristic aesthetic.
  • Aerodynamic Form: A vented hood, prominent side vents, and a coupe-like silhouette inspired by hydrofoil superyachts.
  • Distinctive Rear Styling: An upswept decklid, full-width taillight, and large diffuser reminiscent of the NSX, with bold “ACURA” badging in a new font.
  • Massive 23-inch Wheels: Muscular arches, sculptural wheels, and 295/35R23 performance tires amplify its powerful stance.
  • Performance Brakes: Drilled high-performance brakes with vibrant Moonlit White calipers and neon green Acura script.

Engineering Excellence

The upcoming Acura EV model, based on the Performance EV Concept, will be the first engineered on Honda’s all-new EV platform. It will also be the first EV produced at the state-of-the-art Honda EV Hub in Ohio, showcasing Acura’s commitment to advancing EV manufacturing.
